Christy was a First Responder to Metro Link’s largest train crash to date in Chatsworth on September 12, 2008. She later received the “Heros and Legends Award” by Los Angeles’ Mayor, Antonio Villarigosa along with the responding police, fire, and paramedics who arrived on the scene that day.
